When my daughter started kindergarten at Hanover Academy, I began volunteering wherever I could. Fast forward about four years, and I started subbing for any and every class that needed me. When our beloved Spanish teacher accepted a different position at Hanover Academy leaving a vacancy that was challenging to fill, I knew I had to talk to Mrs. Thomas about it. I like to say that since I was here most of the time anyway, they gave up and offered me a staff position. I love learning Spanish and sharing this process with growing minds… but don’t worry, I still get plenty of volunteer time in, too, as co-president of the Patrons Association.
While not at school, I love spending time with my family, snuggling with my dog, and listening to audiobooks. Wherever I am and whatever I do, I try my best to spread sunshine wherever I go. Be the reason someone else smiles… it will change your life!
