Reading

  • Learn to identify various literary genres, elements of fiction, compare and contrast traits of characters in novels and short stories.

Spelling

  • Apply spelling generalizations and spelling strategies, include spelling and vocabulary into everyday written and oral communication.

Language Arts

  • Recognize, understand, explain, and utilize the rules of grammar.
  • Learn to apply subject and verb agreement.

Spanish

  • Engage in communication in directed activities & dialogues.
  • Introduction of new vocabulary using action verbs & personal pronouns.

Math

  • Whole numbers – all operations.
  • Decimals – place value to billions.
  • Decimals – all operations to 1000ths.
  • Decimals to fractions.
  • Fractions – add/subtract(dem. 12 or less)

Physical Education
